Dr. Pia (Piyakul) Oparkcharoen has more than 15 years of experience as a dentist. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Dental Surgery from the Dental School, University of Adelaide in 2005 as well as a graduate certificate from the Dental School, University of Melbourne in 2010. In 2018, Dr. Pia received a certificate from the University of Sydney for The Orthodontics Long Course Series. Recently, she completed an Orthodontic Mini-Residency Program in Clear Aligner Technique with Dr Sandra Tai, who is a world-leading orthodontist on the subject of invisalign.
At one point, she taught at the University of Melbourne’s Dental School as a lecturer and a course convener. Dr.Pia is a member of the following organisations:
- ITI (International Team for Implantology), Switzerland
- ADA (Australian Dental Association)
Dr. Pia’s passion is in preventative care reducing the chance of patients having to undergo more extensive operations. She believes in conservative and minimally-invasive treatment and endeavors to keep patients’ teeth intact to the extent possible.
